Implants

Implants are equipment items that drop rarely after defeating Securon, Polaris, Dropship, Thornmaster or the boss of Star Cathedral. They are placed within the Implant Slot (obtained from any boss), and grant a bonus to one of the current shell's stats. Tier 1 implants drop from tier 3 and tier 4 bosses as well as tier 5 midbosses while tier 2 implants only drop from tier 5 bosses. Some implants can be obtained from secret rooms in certain dungeons.

The following is a list of obtainable implants (tier 1 implants are prefixed with Inferior while tier 2 implants have no prefix):

Tier 3 Implants are known to exist with the prefix 'Superior', but as of the most recent patch, they are not known to drop anywhere naturally in-game.
