| Implants are equipment items that drop rarely after defeating [[starbreak:underground_base|Securon]], [[starbreak:strands|Polaris]], [[starbreak:graveyard|Dropship]], [[starbreak:temple_lost|Thornmaster]] or the boss of [[starbreak:star_cathedral|Star Cathedral]]. They are placed within the Implant Slot (obtained from any boss), and grant a bonus to one of the current shell's stats. Tier 1 implants drop from tier 3 and tier 4 bosses as well as tier 5 midbosses while tier 2 implants only drop from tier 5 bosses.
